DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES

FULL TIME

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Directs the activities of the Human Resources functions and serves as the College’s Title IX Coordinator and the Affirmative Action and Compliance Officer.  Oversees the functions of employment, benefits, payroll administration, and employee relations.  Responsible for the accurate and timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual Federal and State reports.  Reports to the Vice President of Finance & Operations.

EDUCATION:  Requires Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, Master’s degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: Minimum 5 years demonstrated Human Resources administrative experience; public sector HR experience preferred.

SALARY:  Commensurate with experience; salary range up to $87,000.

 


 

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR NURSE EDUCATION

FULL TIME

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION:   Responsible for providing leadership and direction in overseeing the Associate in Nursing degree program, which admits up to 20 students per year.  Responsibilities include curriculum development and hiring new faculty to continuously improve and expand the Nursing Program.  Develop policies, procedures, and strategic plans to ensure the efficient operation of the program and to secure continued NJ Board of Nursing program approval and ACEN Accreditation. Serves as Area Chair for the Nursing degree program to include Adjunct Instructor recruiting and staffing.  Undertakes other duties as required, including adjunct teaching in the Nursing program, as necessary.

EDUCATION:  Master’s Degree in Nursing required; earned Doctorate in Nursing or related field, preferred.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:   Current NJ RN license, experience in supervision and academic administration, accreditation, acquisition of clinical affiliations, and the ability to teach both clinical and theoretical aspects of curriculum essential.

DEAN OF LEARNING

FULL TIME

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION:   Reporting to the Vice President of Academics, the Dean will be responsible for assisting the Vice President in the planning, development, supervision, and administration of academic programs and services.  Responsibilities include the continued development and supervision of adjunct faculty, the Instructional Support Center (ISC), and Dual Enrollment.

EDUCATION:  Requires Master’s Degree; Earned Doctorate preferred.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:   Minimum (7) seven years of higher education experience and (5) five years teaching in an academic discipline.  Instructional supervision experience in higher education.  Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills required.  Demonstrated competency in LMS systems, instructional technology development, delivery, and assessment.

SALARY:      Commensurate with experience; salary range up to $90,000

FINANCIAL AID ASSOCIATE

FULL TIME

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION:   The Financial Aid Associate will assist with the management of the financial aid office.  General responsibilities include assisting in need analysis, financial aid packaging, grant and loan administration, student and family counseling, administration of federal, state, and institutional regulations and policies, and recruitment activities related to student financial aid services.  The Financial Aid Associate assists the Director with the reporting requirements for federal, state, and institutional standards.

EDUCATION:  Bachelor’s degree required

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:   Minimum of two years experience in a Financial Aid Office in a NJ college, strongly preferred.  Must demonstrate competencies and knowledge in financial aid; ability and skills in financial aid counseling and the ability to relate to students, parents, and colleagues.  Excellent oral and written communication skills needed.  Knowledge of ED Connect, FSA Partner Connect, and HESSA processing as well as PELL, SEOG, and other NJ grant programs.  Experience with PowerFAIDS is a plus.  Strong organizational skills are required.

SALARY:      $62,000


 

TEACHING ADMINISTRATOR

UxS

FULL TIME

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION:   Administrative, 12-month, non-tenure track staff position is responsible for teaching UxS digital design and computer science courses; curriculum development and the staffing, supervision, observation, and evaluation of Adjunct Instructors.

EDUCATION:  Master’s degree

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:   Requires demonstrated competency and experience in UxS design, front-end development, version control, and user experience principles; HTML, CSS, Javascript, UI design, UX, and 1Xd; experience with Figma, Sketch, InVision & Adobe CC; experience in college teaching and supervision, preferably at the community college level.  Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills are required.

SALARY:      Commensurate with experience and skills.


 

 TEACHING ADMINISTRATOR

3D PRINTING

FULL TIME

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION:   Administrative, 12-month, non-tenure track staff position is responsible for teaching 3D Printing courses; curriculum development and the staffing, supervision, observation, and evaluation of adjunct instructors.

EDUCATION:  Master’s degree

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:   Requires demonstrated competency and experience in 3D technology, application engineering, process and materials, data preparation skills, machine operation, post-processing, and surface finishing; working knowledge of Lortrax code; experience in college teaching and supervision, preferably at the community college level.  Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills are required.

SALARY:      Commensurate with experience and skills.
